School of Law at MSRUAS celebrated ​‘Samvidhan Diwas’ on 26^th November 2023, with a series of enlightening sessions as part of the Constitution Day Celebration.

The event commenced with a grand inauguration, followed by a warm welcome address by Shri Gurucharan Gollerkeri, the Director of the School of Social Sciences and School of Law. Prof. V. Vijaykumar, Advisor & Professor of Eminence, MSRUAS, introduced the Chief Guest, Justice Gopala Gowda, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, who delivered an insightful inaugural address. The event further unfolded with engaging sessions featuring distinguished speakers such as Dr. Justice K. Bhakthavatsala, Former Judge, High Court of Karnataka, and Prof. Dr. Subramanya, Dean of CMR School of Legal Studies, shedding light on the Making of the Constitution and Constitutional Law. 

Students of the School of Law presented a ​‘Unique Perspective on Constitutional Law’, while Dr. Aruna addressed ​‘Challenges in Unity from a Constitutional Standpoint’. Prof. Dr. V. Vijayakumar delved into ​‘Preamble and Constitutional Morality’. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Aruna, followed by the National Anthem and a distribution of preamble and badges to motorists, pedestrians, general public at the BEL road traffic junction, fostering a spirit of constitutional awareness and celebration.
