The Library supports the law school’s legal and interdisciplinary scholarship and the curricular needs of its faculty and students. It is committed to educating and empowering students, scholars and the university community by providing access to legal information, ideas and resources.

Library is well equipped with recent books, commentaries, Periodicals, Journals, newspapers and online databases & resources which help the students to get well acquitted with subjects and current affairs. The college library is located in the Ground floor of the School of Law Building consists of a large collection of books pertaining to Law, Sciences and Social Sciences and other general books. The collection will be increased to cater the needs of teachers and students and to include new and latest titles. The reading section in the library is well furnished and well lighted and ventilated, kept open for teachers and students even after normal working hours of the institution. Various law journals in every field of law subscribed for the benefit of the staff and students to enable them to keep themselves well informed of the latest know how. It also provides leading newspapers, magazines and periodicals for the benefit of staff and students. Experienced and well-qualified staff manage the centre and are always available for any help in using the facility.

General Rules and Regulations

  • Strict and absolute silence shall be observed in the Library
  • The readers are requested to keep their belongings at the library property counter
  • Any kind of marking, underlining, clipping of library books is absolutely forbidden. Readers shall be held responsible for any damage done to the book belonging to the Library and shall be required to replace such book OR pay the value thereof
  • If any book is lost or damaged beyond repair, the person responsible to replace it with a new copy OR pay double the cost of the recent edition price along with handling charges OR as decided by the Librarian
  • The borrower will be responsible for loss or non-return of library books issued against his/​her Library Membership Card
  • Under special circumstances, the Librarian may refuse to issue the books OR recall the books already been issued from any member without assigning any reason
  • Reference books, Latest Newspapers, Current Magazines, Journals, and Thesis are not issued
  • The following conditions are to be followed for the renewal of books.
    1. The book has to be produced in the Library for renewal
    2. More than two renewals are not allowed
